We share the responsibility of managing our waste correctly to avoid unnecessary costs for the association. It is strictly forbidden<\/b> to leave trash in stairwells or storage corridors due to fire hazards and accessibility regulations.<\/p>\n

Garbage Chute (Household & Food Waste)<\/b><\/p>\n

  • \n

    Location:<\/b> Available on all floors in the stairwells. Ground-floor residents use the garbage chute in the nearest entrance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Food waste:<\/b> Must be disposed of in green bags<\/b>. These are available in the laundry room, in a cardboard box to the left of the drying cabinets. The bags are free and must only<\/b> contain food waste.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Household garbage:<\/b> Dispose of in your own securely tied plastic bags.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Close the hatch:<\/b> Always close the hatch properly after use, otherwise the vacuum system will stop working.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    System blockages:<\/b> Never throw large items or pizza boxes into the chute. Every blockage costs the association a 1,300 SEK<\/b> call-out fee.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The Association's Recycling & Bulky Waste Rooms (Archway at port 14)<\/b><\/p>\n

      Bulky waste:<\/b> Large and dry waste from your apartment and storage unit can be disposed of here after sorting (no<\/b> construction waste or food waste).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Important regarding full containers:<\/b> Trash must not<\/b> be placed on the floor next to the containers. The association is charged an extra fee every time this happens. If the containers are full, you must wait a few days and try again. The bulky waste is normally emptied twice a week on weekdays (may be reduced to once during short weeks\/holidays).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Electronics recycling:<\/b> Located in the basement area of the archway. Leave batteries, lightbulbs, small electronics, and small household appliances here.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Forbidden (Large appliances):<\/b> Stoves, washing machines, and similar large white goods may not<\/b> be left here. These must be transported to the recycling center.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Public Recycling Station (Packaging)<\/b><\/p>\n

        What:<\/b> Packaging made of plastic, paper, cardboard, metal, and glass, as well as newspapers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Location:<\/b> Our nearest station is at G\u00f6talandsv\u00e4gen 205 (next to Motel L).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Recycling Centers (\u00c5VC)<\/b><\/p>\n

        For furniture, large appliances, chemicals, paint cans, and construction waste.<\/p>\n

          \u00d6stberga \u00c5VC:<\/b> Bussens V\u00e4g 2. Public transport: Bus 144 towards Gullmarsplan, get off at the Sockengr\u00e4nd stop.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Vant\u00f6rs \u00c5VC:<\/b> Kvicksundsv\u00e4gen 14 A, Bandhagen. Here you also have the option to recycle garden waste<\/b> such as branches and leaves.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Other Alternatives for Bulky Waste<\/b><\/p>\n

            Container:<\/b> Twice a year, during the spring and autumn cleaning days, a container is placed outside the preschool. Only for bulky waste (strictly no hazardous or electronic waste).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Doorstep pick-up:<\/b> Residents can book free pick-up of hazardous waste and small electronics directly from their door during January and July<\/b>.
